Our most technically demanding project to date. A heritage brick home in Orangeville with a complex conical porch roof — fully tapered, mechanically locked custom 24-gauge standing seam installed over a completely rebuilt deck. Full tear-off revealed severely rotted decking that required full replacement before installation could begin. Full Blueskin ice and water shield installed across every surface. Custom tapered panels fabricated and mechanically locked on site.
Failed shingles at end of life. Granule loss, cracking, and pooling at the conical porch section. This roof had been leaking for years before we were called in.
Full tear-off revealed significant deck rot — multiple sections of original board deck required complete replacement before any new material could go on. Once new OSB decking was installed across all surfaces, full Blueskin ice and water shield was applied to every section including the curved conical geometry. Panels were then custom fabricated to taper and installed section by section.
Completed installation — custom tapered 24-gauge mechanically locked standing seam. Every panel tapers to the apex of the conical geometry, mechanically locked along each seam. The result is a watertight, architecturally refined roof that will protect this heritage property for decades.
A Loretto client had always dreamed of the classic red and white barn look — but years of pieced-together vinyl and metal cladding had left the building looking tired and unfinished. Every other company quoted the job without addressing the soffit detail. We were the only contractor who identified what the customer actually wanted as a finished product and offered a solution to match — including custom fabricated soffit flashings that none of the other quotes even considered. Full re-cladding over Tyvek HomeWrap in Heritage Red with white trim and a completely finished soffit line.
Pieced-together mix of old vinyl and metal cladding — multiple different materials, no consistent finish, failing at the seams. The soffit line was unresolved and no previous contractor had offered a solution to properly finish it.
Existing cladding stripped back to framing. New strapping installed to create a flat, plumb substrate. Full Tyvek HomeWrap moisture barrier applied before any metal panels went on. Red Heritage panels installed section by section with white trim — the soffit flashing detail resolved cleanly as panels progressed.
The finished result — exactly what the client had always wanted. Heritage Red cladding, white trim, clean soffit line with custom fabricated flashings. A completely transformed building that looks like it was always meant to be a classic Ontario barn.
A second-storey elevated deck with no usable space below — rain dripping through the boards, exposed joists, wasted square footage. Our custom under-deck system transforms the open structure into a fully enclosed, dry outdoor living area. Custom metal panels are installed with a built-in pitch that channels water into custom-fabricated drainage troughs. All flashings are custom made to ensure proper slope, drainage coverage, and a sealed perimeter that keeps out pests. Custom downspouts divert water away from the structure exactly where needed. The result is a fully weatherproofed outdoor room the client can furnish and use year-round — rain or shine.
Elevated second-storey deck with completely open joist structure below. Every rainfall soaked the space underneath — no shelter, no usability. The space had potential but needed a proper system to unlock it.
Custom metal panels installed section by section with a built-in slope toward the drainage channels. Perimeter flashings custom-fabricated on site to seal every edge — walls, posts, and the beam line. Drainage channels integrated into the panel system route water to custom downspouts positioned to discharge away from the foundation.
The finished system — a clean, fully enclosed ceiling with integrated drainage. The space below is completely dry in any weather. The final photo shows exactly what this product delivers: a furnished outdoor living room that didn't exist before, usable year-round regardless of what's happening above it.
A daycare facility in Gravenhurst with an aging shingle roof that needed replacing. After a thorough assessment, we identified the existing conditions were suitable for an over-shingle installation — eliminating tear-off costs and minimising disruption to the operating business. Even on over-shingle installations, our standard is to install a full waterproof membrane before any metal panels go on. Every issue was identified upfront, discussed with the client, and resolved before work began. The result is a clean, dark exposed fastener metal roof that will protect this building for decades — installed without a single day of business interruption.
Aging asphalt shingles showing significant wear. Before recommending an over-shingle approach, we assessed the existing roof thoroughly — deck condition, shingle flatness, moisture, penetrations. All issues were documented and discussed with the client before any work began.
Exposed fastener panels installed over a full waterproof membrane — clean, dark, and sharp against the grey siding. All penetrations properly flashed, ridge capped, and eave trim finished. The transformation is dramatic from every angle.
A new agricultural building in Tottenham — the structure and Silverboard continuous insulation were already in place when we arrived. Our scope was the complete metal envelope: exposed fastener roof, wall cladding, and the full trim package. Slate grey panels with charcoal trim, installed clean and finished properly from day one.
Structure framed and Silverboard continuous insulation already installed by others — a well-prepared substrate ready for the metal envelope. Our scope starts here: roof panels, wall cladding, and full trim package.
Roof panels installed first, then wall cladding progressing around the building. Charcoal trim fitted at all corners, eaves, and openings as panels are installed — trim work is done alongside panel installation, not as an afterthought.
Completed roof, walls, and full trim package. Slate grey panels with charcoal trim — a sharp, clean agricultural building that will require no painting, no maintenance, and will look the same in 30 years as it does today.
A commercial building in Arthur with a 30+ year old exposed fastener metal roof. The original green finish had completely oxidised — gloss gone, heavy streaking, and significant colour fade across the full roof and wall cladding. Rather than replacing a structurally sound roof, the client chose to repaint. After a full pressure wash to remove all oxidation and surface contamination, we applied a direct-to-metal paint in Regent Grey — a colour we matched to current metal panel suppliers. This means if any flashings or panels need replacement in the future, we can source metal that matches the painted finish closely. The transformation is dramatic — a tired, streaked building brought back to sharp.
30+ years of weathering had stripped the original green finish completely. Heavy oxidation, vertical streaking from run-off, and near-total colour fade across every surface. The roof was structurally sound — an ideal candidate for painting rather than replacement.
Full pressure wash followed by direct-to-metal paint application in Regent Grey — matched to current metal panel supplier specifications so future flashing or panel replacements can be sourced to match. Clean, uniform finish across the entire envelope — roof and wall cladding.
Not every call is a new roof. We respond to ice dam emergencies, identify improperly installed roofs before they fail, reseal failing fastener lines on agricultural buildings, and install heat trace systems to prevent recurring winter damage. We provide full written inspection reports — and where thermal imaging is needed to find hidden moisture or insulation failure, we can arrange that too. If something is wrong with your roof, we'll find it and tell you exactly what it needs.
A sample of real conditions we encounter — ice dams causing structural risk, improperly installed panels lifting at the eave, failed fastener sealant on agricultural roofs, aging seams needing assessment, and heat trace installations to prevent recurring ice formation.
A 115-year-old interlocking metal tile roof on a heritage brick home — still structurally sound, still watertight, with a stunning natural patina built up over more than a century. Every contractor the homeowner called recommended full replacement. We disagreed. After a thorough inspection, it was clear the roof had decades of life left. The only area requiring work was a section where a chimney had been removed, leaving a gap in the original tile field. We sourced matching period metal tiles, fabricated the necessary flashing, and completed a patch that honours the original installation. The patina continues to develop naturally — this roof will outlast anything we could have installed new.
The completed project — the original 115-year interlocking tile roof preserved in place, with the chimney removal section patched using period-matched tiles sourced specifically for this job. The iridescent patina of deep reds, greens, and purples is the result of over a century of natural oxidation. The matched tiles were installed and will develop the same patina over time.
The only photo of the pre-repair condition. The chimney removal company left the section open — a temporary patch of rubber membrane and Blueskin holding it until a roofing contractor could address it. The original 115-year tiles are visible surrounding the gap. Every contractor who quoted it said replace the whole roof.
Chimney removed, section left open with a temporary patch. Three contractors assessed it and quoted full roof replacement — citing the age of the tiles and inability to source a match.
The existing tiles were structurally sound and watertight. The roof did not need replacing. The only scope required was sourcing matching period tiles and patching the chimney section properly.
We sourced matching 115-year-old metal tiles, fabricated the necessary flashings, and completed a proper patch. The replacement tiles will develop the same patina over time and blend naturally into the original field.

Full barn re-cladding in Heritage Red with white trim. Complete transformation from failing grey board siding to a finished, maintenance-free metal panel system with 40-year finish warranty.
The same barn before re-cladding. Failing grey board siding, exposed framing, no weather protection. This project shows the full transformation metal cladding delivers on agricultural properties.
Full Blueskin ice and water shield across an exposed deck. This is the foundation of every full tear-off installation — the layer most customers never see, but the one that matters most.
A heritage octagonal gazebo in Alliston town square — cedar shingles well past end of life. The challenge was fabricating tapered standing seam panels to follow the compound hip geometry of an eight-sided roof, with every seam running to a custom cap. Result: a striking cobalt blue standing seam roof that's become a landmark.
Original cedar shingle roof, badly deteriorated — shingles lifting, splitting, and missing across the octagonal hip.

Custom tapered standing seam panels in a bold cobalt blue, fitted to all eight faces with a precision-formed peak cap.

A full agricultural barn re-clad in dark navy steel. Heritage-style structure given a bold, modern exterior with vertical steel siding throughout — clean panel lines, low-maintenance finish, and a sharp contrast against the surrounding bush and field that turns heads from the road.
Full exterior coverage in dark navy steel with custom trim and tight panel lines. The structure now reads sharp and intentional from every angle.

Under-deck space previously enclosed with plastic lattice — no weather protection, no security, no usable storage. Full replacement with light grey vertical aluminum cladding panels, custom storage doors fabricated and integrated into the system. The space went from an eyesore to a clean, finished exterior feature with lockable storage.
