Why It Matters
Protect Your Investment

A metal roof is a long-term investment — but like any building component, it benefits from periodic attention. Small issues caught early stay small.

We provide maintenance and repair services for all metal roof systems throughout Simcoe County — whether we installed the roof or not. If you have a metal roof that needs attention, we'll come take a look.

We don't manufacture problems. If your roof is in good shape, we'll tell you that too.

Standing Seam Maintenance — Heritage Property, Simcoe County
What We Cover
Our Repair & Maintenance Services
I
Heat Trace Cable Installation

Self-regulating heat trace cables installed along eaves, valleys, and gutters to prevent ice dam formation. Particularly valuable on roofs with limited attic insulation or north-facing exposures.

II
Snow Guard Installation

Snow guards prevent sudden snow slides from metal roofs — protecting people, vehicles, landscaping, and lower roof sections below. We supply and install pads and rail-style systems to suit any profile.

III
Eavestrough Cleaning & Repair

Blocked or damaged eavestroughs are one of the most common causes of water damage around a building's foundation and fascia. We clean, realign, reseal, and replace gutters as needed.

IV
Caulking & Sealant Work

Sealant joints at penetrations, trim intersections, and flashing terminations are the most common failure points on any metal roof. We inspect and re-seal as part of regular maintenance visits.

V
Flashing Repairs

Chimney, skylight, wall, and valley flashings are critical leak points. We repair and replace failed or improperly installed flashings — including step flashing, counter-flashing, and pipe boots.

VI
Panel Repair & Replacement

Damaged, dented, or improperly installed panels can be replaced on most metal roof systems. We source matching or compatible panels where possible to maintain visual consistency.

VII
Fastener Inspection & Re-Driving

On exposed fastener systems, screws can back out over time — particularly on roofs installed with incorrect fastener torque. We inspect fastener patterns and re-drive or replace as needed.

VIII
Roof Inspections

A thorough inspection before and after Ontario winters can catch developing issues early. We provide written inspection reports covering panel condition, penetrations, flashings, and drainage.

IX
Soffit & Fascia Repairs

Damaged soffit and fascia affects both appearance and building performance. We repair and replace metal soffit and fascia sections, and can match existing profiles on most systems.

Warning Signs
When to Call Us
Metal roofs are low maintenance — but that doesn't mean no maintenance. Here are the signs that your roof deserves attention before the problem gets larger or more expensive.
Water stains on interior ceilings or walls

Almost always indicates a leak — either at a penetration, flashing, or panel joint.

Ice dams forming at the eave edge

May indicate inadequate attic insulation or ventilation — heat trace cable is often the solution.

Loose, missing, or damaged snow guards

A missing snow guard is a hazard. Snow slides from metal roofs can be sudden and heavy.

Blocked or overflowing eavestroughs

Water spilling over full gutters damages fascia, foundation, and landscaping over time.

Visible rust or sealant cracking at penetrations

Surface rust on exposed fasteners or cracking caulk at pipe boots requires prompt attention.

Loose or lifting panel edges

Panel edges that have lifted from trim or are no longer locked together can admit wind-driven rain.
